Select a consultation option

Decide whether you want to extend your prescription or talk to your doctor (e.g. to start therapy with a new drug). In the case of psychotropic drugs or strong painkillers, it is necessary to provide data from your IKP or a certificate from your doctor.

Depression – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What does depression treatment look like during an online consultation?

A doctor will connect with you via video call at the scheduled time. During the consultation, they will conduct a detailed interview, assess your condition, and – if necessary – suggest treatment or renew your prescription.

Who can prescribe antidepressants?

Both psychiatrists and general practitioners can issue e-prescriptions – including during online consultations. If you are continuing treatment, a GP can renew medications previously prescribed by a specialist.

Can I get a prescription for depression without an in-person visit?

Yes. An e-visit is enough – if the doctor sees no contraindications, you’ll receive an electronic prescription. No need to leave your home.

When should I seek help?

If you’ve been feeling down, lacking energy, having trouble sleeping, experiencing anxiety, or struggling with motivation or concentration for an extended period – it could be depression. Don’t wait – early intervention increases treatment effectiveness.
