The Dimedic clinic allows the following forms of payment for the visit:
• Blik,
• Internet transfer,
• Card payment.

Can the pediatrician write a referral?
The pediatrician can write a referral for commercial laboratory tests, specialist tests or to the hospital.

Can the pediatrician write a prescription?
Yes, a pediatrician, like any doctor, can issue a prescription if they are licensed to practice.

Access to the IKP during a pediatrician appointment online – why is it necessary?
You have access to your child's profile via your online patient account. You will receive all necessary documents (e-prescriptions, e-referrals) on your child's online patient account. By providing access to the online patient account, the doctor will have an overview of the child's medical history and pharmacotherapy.

A private pediatrician at Dimedic - what does the appointment look like?
1. First, you choose a doctor - remember that for a child, this can be an online family doctor or an online pediatrician.
2. Then you indicate the form of the visit, i.e. teleconsultation or video consultation.
3. You specify the time frame in which the doctor is to contact you.
4. Fill in the preliminary medical consultation form. Include information about the medications you are taking and your medical history.
5. If you need an e-prescription for a follow-up treatment, attach the relevant medical documentation to the form or share your IKP (Internet Patient Account).
6. If you choose a teleconsultation, the doctor will call you at the time slot you have selected. It is worth trying to be available at that time. The doctor will make three attempts to contact you. Make sure you enter the correct phone number in the form.
7. If you decide on a video consultation, a link to the appointment will be sent to your email and text message during the selected time slot. The doctor will be waiting for you there for 4 minutes.
8. During the online visit, the doctor will have access to the form you have completed. Based on the medical examination, they will decide on the course of further treatment, including the need to issue an e-prescription or e-referral.
9. After the visit, you will receive all documents by email and a text message notification that they have been issued. If you have an Online Patient Account (OPA), the e-referrals or e-prescriptions will also be available there.

Online pediatrician – when is it worth contacting?
A pediatrician, as a doctor, can refer the patient to a specialist if they deem it necessary based on the symptoms. They can interpret test results and determine a course of treatment, prescribe an e-prescription or an e-referral for commercial tests.

The online pediatrician is a particularly convenient option for rapidly developing symptoms, which usually accompany viral infections.

It is worth consulting this specialist for symptoms such as:
• abdominal pain in a child,
• vomiting,
• runny nose, dry or wet cough,
• lack of appetite,
• excessive tearfulness,
• sore throat,
• earache,
• diarrhea, constipation,
• tinnitus.

A tele-consultation for children is an option worth using whenever you have concerns about your child's health. Choose a time that suits you and the type of consultation (e.g. teleconsultation). The pediatrician will contact you at the selected time slot and you will receive professional care without having to leave the house.

Pediatrician vs. family doctor – what is the difference?
A pediatrician treats children, while a general practitioner treats patients of all ages, including children, adults, and the elderly.

Tele-consultation with a pediatrician – advantages
An online pediatrician can provide pediatric care in many cases. This type of visit also means less stress for your child. A consultation with a specialist in the comfort of your own home is a safer (during the flu season) and more convenient option for various types of symptoms, both pain and colds. A private pediatrician will see you online at a time of your choice via telephone or video call. Saving time, e.g. on traveling to the facility, will allow you to reconcile the care of a minor patient with other household or work responsibilities. Thanks to this form of consultation, you will avoid the risk of infecting yourself or your child while waiting in line with other patients.

The online pediatrician will study the symptoms, analyze the test results (if you provide them or share them via your Online Patient Account), make a diagnosis or issue an e-referral for additional commercial tests, make appropriate recommendations and issue an e-prescription if deemed necessary.
